Did you run mixxx from the same console that you ran 'export PA_ALSA_PLUGHW=1'? Did you select plughw:1,0 for the sound card?

no i don't run it from the same console and i don't have a option to select plughw:1,0

hmmm could it be that the audio4 interface isn't really supported for vinyl control? i nearly try for a week now and it doesn't want to work - really annoying....

'export PA_ALSA_PLUGHW=1' sets an environment variable in the shell. If mixxx is run from a different shell, it won't have any effect. You can also run it all in one line, like 'export PA_ALSA_PLUGHW=1 mixxx' (or 'export PA_ALSA_PLUGHW=1 pasuspender mixxx' if you need to suspend PulseAudio). If you don't see plughw:1,0 as an option but you do see hw:1,0, that's because the PA_ALSA_PLUGHW environment variable wasn't set to 1 when mixxx started. If you don't see either as an option, then PulseAudio is probably using the sound card and you need to use pasuspender.

The Audio 4 DJ should be supported.

I ran everything from the same shell and now there is no error message :) But there is still no signal from channel B. Channel A now gets a signal, but i still can't choose "absolute mode" or anything in the vinyl control settings....

But it seems that I'm on the right way, i just have to find out how i can make channel B work and how to choose absolute mode.

Thank you for your help so far and sorry for my bad english :D

Do you have both Vinyl Control 1 and Vinyl Control 2 inputs configured in the Sound Hardware Preferences?

See the wiki for how to set up your shell environment so you don't have to explicitly set that environment variable every time you run Mixxx.

Yes i configured both. I hope i did it right.
Channel A works perfectly now but i don't know what's going on with channel B.

Here are some screenshots, maybe you see a mistake?

and the vinyl control - as you can see, just channel A gets some signal

Are there switches for the phono preamps on the inputs? They might be on the device or controllable through alsamixer (which has to be run in a console; there are also some GUI programs that do the same thing). Perhaps the phono preamp for deck B is turned off and it is expecting line level but getting phono level input.

I just read all these messages, I noticed that your card is not in the supported hardware list
http://www.mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php/hard ... patibility

Still weird, because the other NI cards all work.
I have the NI Traktor Audio 6 card and it worked almost out of the box.
I just had to install a mixer (Alsa mixer or Qas mixer) to turn off the "Thru" function on my Card.

I had it running on Ubuntu 15.10, but since the new release (16.04) it's not running very smoothly, it workes, but Mixxx itself becomes very very slow.
So I installed Ubuntu Studio 16.04, but had the same problem.

The thing is, Ubuntu Studio maybe has all the correct "drivers" and settings for your card pre-installed.
I'm going to install Studio 14.04 for now, maybe that will work for you as well.

If not I'm afraid someone will have to make a "driver" for it. It should be possible.

Good luck
