Weird sound glitches on playback

Postby UncleManuel » Sat Mar 20, 2010 11:36 pm

Hi!

Today I found this nice useful program and played the whole day with it. But I discovered a major problem: The playback in Mixxx shows randomly every few seconds some "glitches". It´s like somebody is adjusting the pitch a little or something like that. Sometimes a clear bass-beat is half eaten and sometimes the sound is stretched like chewing gum (over 1/4 second or so). I´ve got a good rhythm sense and these glitches are annoying... :(

I´ve tried pretty much everything, but it´s still there - even with the ASIO4ALL-drivers (wich btw works without sound-crackings at 11ms). So the big question is: Where do these glitches come from? Can maybe the onboard-sound (Realtek ALC888S) cause it? :?:

Hi!

Same result with ripped FLAC-tracks btw, so it´s not an error with my MP3s. I think my soundcard cause these glitches. Hmmm, time for a DJ Console Mk4...
