How do I stop it from cutting off beginning & ends of songs?

Hi there. I'm using Mixxx to play a number of different styles of music, somewhat more like a jukebox of sorts while occasionally chiming in as a DJ vocally, I'm not trying to mix multiple EDM songs together to sound like one. How do I keep it from sometimes cutting off the last 20 seconds of a song or from cutting off the intro of the next song?

Thanks.

I am assuming that you mean that you use AutoDJ, and you want to know how to use it as a player, instead of a mixer.

If that is correct, in the AutoDJ section (where you activate and deactivate it), there is also a spinbox where there's a number in it. If you set that number to zero (or even to a negative number), tracks will not get mixed. Concretely, that tells how many seconds to mix. Negative numbers means add silence between them.

That's exactly what I needed. Thanks so much. :)

Hello,

How to delete a wrong song in AutoDJ? I guess there should be an option box or something, but I don't see any. Silly question I guess, but still.

Thank you.

When you are in the AutoDJ view, there are a few buttons in the same line where the start/stop autoDJ button is, that allow to skip the track that is prepared, or to fadeout the currently playing one.

If you actually mean that you want a group of files to be excluded from the autodj, you will need to do the opposite: create one or more crates with the tracks that you want, and then tell Mixxx to use those crates as sources for autoDJ.
You have the option either right-clicking over the crate name, or over the "crates" folder under the AutoDJ tree entry.
