Hi AndyC,

Nice idea. Would you mind to file a bug on Launchpad?
Else your Idea might get lost here in the forums.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/+filebug

Thank you.

If you feel that something is missing is there a way to add a plugin or you have to recompile it all?
Cannot find my way out answering this question. I beg you pardon is an obvious request.
I swear spent some time browsing but can't find it!
Cheers

Don't think it's an aim for Mixxx to do video. But you could try Magic Visuals which can mix video and visuals. It also responds to audio input (routed from Mixxx for example). It's commercial but very reasonably priced if you ask me. Open source alternatives are things like vvvv.

Dear all ! My dear incredible lunatics !!! I couldn't believe what this application is capable of!!! Thank you from the bottom of my hart and please receive many warm greetings from Serbia! I was in radio business for many years and I was the best. Life took me on the other path but after (again) many years I'm coming back. At the time when I was in radio business, winamp was the top of technology, but this application now... Miracle!!!! THANK YOU!!!

Translating Mixxx's built-in text using Launchpad Translations.

links to https://translations.launchpad.net/mixxx/trunk
