I understand, but since it was brought up 5 years ago, how many more years is needed?

Thanks for pointing this out. The builds were actually working, but they were not getting uploaded to the download site after some changes to the build servers. This has been fixed.
I heard FLAC and I haven't gone back.

Hello,

I would like to carry on the translation of Mixxx in French language, in the 2.2 version. But do not have free time now.

Can you post here a message some days before you take the translation from Transifex in order I work on the last untranslated sentences.

Thanks

Congrats on the QT upgrade!

Just wondering if there are any schema changes to the SQLite database that would prevent me from rolling back to 2.1.5 after trying out 2.2.x?

We have not done any DB changes in 2.2
So you can go fire and back without any issues.

We are now in the release candidate phase for 2.2! This means we have fixed all the serious bugs we are aware of and will only be making small changes if any. If no new serious bugs are reported, we'll release 2.2.0 in two weeks.

I am using the 2.2 RC (2.2.0-rc (build 2.2 r6615)), and the ability to move some the controls disappear after about an hour of spinning. A DJ controller can still control the effect of the levels of the control , but there is no visual indication that the control has moved. This seems to be isolated to the Slider, and the knobs in the channel mixer. Using the mouse will not move them either.

Sometimes the control will move after a long delay 15-20 seconds after making a change in the control.

No other performance problems are observed at the time this is happening.

I am using the Tango skin. I am on Windows 10 64bit. This problem was not in the 2.1.x builds.

Let me know if you need more info, or want me to test something. Thanks.

Is it only the EQ knobs and volume faders that are affected? To clarify, moving the knobs and faders on your controller changes the audio, but not the widgets on screen? Do other parts of the GUI (buttons, other knobs, waveforms, library) continue to work? Has this occurred multiple times? Have you noticed any pattern of when that happens other than using Mixxx for a long time? What waveform renderer and sound API do you have configured?

This might be a regression from a workaround to fix laggy mouse input to knobs/faders on macOS...

Could you please try this build (2.2.0-beta r6595):
http://downloads.mixxx.org/builds/2.2/r ... se-x64.exe

It's from 10/25/2018, right before PR 1809 merged.
